This amazing 24-acre property on the outskirts of Berthoud, Colorado required a lot of prep work for the ultimate indoor riding arena. The new facility was planned to occupy the footprint of an existing outdoor arena, and required the removal of a 50/50 mix of sand and squeege (also known as footing) so we could begin building the lifts with screened fill dirt. The site was then prepped and readied for construction of the new arena. Once the building was up on the pad site, we installed crusher fines at 6″ depth and finished the top layer with 2.5” of the reserved 50/50 mix. Finally, we installed a water hydrant to service the arena.
We want to send a special thanks to our customers who trust us and give us the opportunity to bring dreams to life. We feel truly blessed to be a part of this project and I hope every horse at this acreage enjoys it as well.
